Mt Bromo, Mt Batok, mt Semeru in East Java, Indonesia… what a view!

Bromo trip can be reached from : Surabaya, Malang or Probolinggo. Best time to go? You should travel there in the “dry season” which is July or August, as the chances of a pretty sunrise are better, and no rain!
We took midnight ride to Bromo mt at 00.00 am, a car collected us as we started our journey, just few hours in comfort before switching to a jeep. Now the adventure was really set to begin! 3am in the morning we bounced at the windy roads in total darkness… Ini demi mengejar matahari! Yep catching sunrise. Bromo terkenal dengan sunrise view nya yang jernih dan seperti tirai (bayangin kaya di film-film ya, exactly!!!)
Made our way into coolness on the foot the rest up to the mountain… Bring jackets, gloves, Scarfs, as it will be extremely COLD (0-7 C) when we are waiting for the sunrise

Then you can go on explore :
Pasir Berbisik… A vast landscape covered in black sand, that sometimes whispering-like sound
Bukit Telletubbies and the savannah… a beautiful and area around Bromo, in dry season when the grass dries it becomes brown, but during the rainy season it is green-coloured filled with beautiful wildflowers. Beneran seperti di Scotland deh, trust me, Ive been to Scotland!

Bromo crater… how can i explain, well, you can see an astonishing view from here plus the crater! Bisa pakai kuda melewati Pura Ponten dan sampai tangga.

Kalau mau cari travel namanya “Paket Bromo Sunrise” persis seperti yang ada diatas, mulai dijemput dengan Avanza, lanjut jeep, sampai puncak, keliling ke Bukit Teletubies, Pasir berbisik, Kawah Bromo, dll, all in 1 and totally satisfied! Kami pilih dari Malang (karena mau exploring Malang & Batu), bisa dari Surabaya, atau dari Probolinggo (ini dekat dengan pintu masuk Taman Nasional Bromo Tengger, hotel-hotelnya biasa aja ga recommended, yang deket pintu Cafe Lava, ada 1 yang dipakai untuk Jazz Festival, yaitu Java Banana). Travel yang kami pakai adalah Metrix Travel dari Surabaya, kami masih simpan no tel nya, jika ada yg minat, tinggalin komen di bawah ya… (we were using Metrix Travel, if you need it, you can mention comment below, I’ll give you rite away).
